Rotary Fountain Cleanup

In the middle of Downtown Ironton is the Ironton Rotary Fountain. The Ironton Rotary club takes the time out each year for a spring cleanup to welcome Spring. Members gather, fellowship and plant and update on of the focal points of our city.

Annual Pancake Breakfast

Annually, the Ironton Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast has become a tradition in the community. In February of each year, Rotarians prepare and serve delicious pancake breakfasts to over hundreds.

Celebrating 100 Years of Service

The Ironton Rotary Club celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2019. Ironton has a great history of Rotary and look forward to the next 100 years.

Literacy Program

September of each year is Literacy Month in Rotary. The Ironton Rotary club has a tradition of suppling each 3 grader and 5th grader in the county with a dictionary and thesaurus. These gifts are delivered to each school and passed out with a message about the importance of literacy.

Rotary Nursing Scholarship

Each year the Ironton Rotary club gives two scholarships to Lawrence County students who are going into the nursing field. This scholarship is specific to students who live or are from Lawrence County.

Celebrate Community

The Ironton Rotary Club teamed up with the Ironton Lions Club for Celebrate Community. It was brought to our attention of a need for non-perishable foods that are easy for youth to prepare after school. Over a 2 week period in September, the clubs set up donation spots in local businesses. We were able to collect the donations and present them to the Ironton City Mission.

Annual Halloween Parade

The Ironton Rotary club along with other civic clubs and businesses are a part of the annual Halloween Parade in Downtown Ironton. The Rotary Club hosts a costume contests for the children in the parade and passes out candy and awards.

Socktober

During the month of October, the Ironton Rotary Club set up donation bins in the community for the need on new socks for men, women and children. The community response was fantastic and the club was able to donate over 600 pairs to the Ironton City Mission.
